There are many positive reasons to donate your car to a local charity like Hands of The Carpenter!

1. It’s basically hassle-free! No need to deal with posting online ads and setting up meetings with flaky, anonymous buyers.

2. Tax deductions! Vehicle donations can be deducted from your taxes. Get more info here.

3. Your old car may have a second life! Our first choice is always to repair a donated car and place it with a woman in need.

4. Help a neighbor! With Hands of The Carpenter, all vehicle donations contribute directly to supporting women in need in Jefferson County. Your vehicle donation will help a family get to school routinely or provide reliable transportation for getting to work or college classes.

If the car no longer runs, we can arrange a free tow, typically within one week. You do not have to be at home for vehicle pick up as long as you’re comfortable leaving the keys and title in the car.
