Sarah – Single Mom Shares Tears of Joy

Sarah is a single mom of two children, ages 5 and 14. In December, 2020, Sarah applied for the vehicle placement program and received approval for a vehicle. She is a hard worker who works full-time as a manager for a fast-casual restaurant, and also delivers part-time for Door Dash.

One of the many struggles Sarah has experienced throughout the pandemic is the ability to financially support and care for her children. Her existing vehicle was continuously breaking down, and was unsafe. With winter months still ahead, she was concerned of having to walk to work in the weather.

We are thrilled to share that on February 12th, Sarah turned in her broken down car for credit towards a safe and reliable vehicle and was placed in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata at Merrill’s’ Automotive.

Sarah’s emotions got the best of her on Friday, when she received her vehicle. She could not be more grateful for the support Hands has shown her through the placement process, and for that, she is thankful that she is safe on the road in a reliable vehicle!

Our thanks to the team at Merrill Automotive for assisting with this vehicle placement. We love our auto partners!
