Women coming to Hands want hope and opportunity
Kim was referred by one of Hands’ partner nonprofits. She has attended Denver School of the Arts and Turing School of Software Design and Development. Kim has one child, with no support from the father. She initially came to us needing car repair, but after the initial evaluation, it was determined it was wiser to put Kim into our placement program. After several months of saving up money for her vehicle, Hands was able to call her with a car that perfectly fit her needs. Kim was overwhelmed with the generosity of the donor, and the care that Hands of The Carpenter offered her through the process. Her expression of gratitude and belief that Hands and the car’s donation were a gift from God touched us all. She now is able to continue her school, work and, artistic dreams.
