Maria – Thankful to Hands for a Helping Hand

Maria is a single mom, who supports her daughter Angelina on her own without any financial support. She works in the restaurant industry as a system/network administrator. As a single mother, it is a necessary for her to have a good running vehicle.

Maria’s daughter is 17 years old and has doctor’s appointments that are not in close proximity to her home. She originally applied to have her existing vehicle seen by Hands for repairs. The vehicle was diagnosed and found to have major issues far too extensive to repair and costly and was asked to look into the Lift UP program for a vehicle placement. Maria applied for the Hands Lift UP program and was approved.

We’re excited to share that on May 14, 2021, Maria was placed with a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. She expresses her gratitude for what Hands does to support our single working moms and is so happy with her vehicle.
