Giving to Hands

Join us and become a “Hands Champion” today! There are three ways to give:

We often say that the Hands community of Champions (hundreds of individuals, foundations, churches, civic organizations, and companies) provides the “fuel” through their contributions that empower single women in need to stay on the road towards achieving or maintaining self-sufficiency.

In 2021, for example, 439 Champions (individuals, couples, and families) provided $361,289 in cash gifts and/or they participated in Hands’ special events. Your generosity is making a lasting difference in the lives of the women that we serve together, their families, and in our community.

Examples of the IMPACT of Your Giving

  • A one-time gift or monthly gifts totaling $5,000 – $20,000 to serve new 2022 clients in Jefferson County from Hands West and to support the Hands East expansion to increase our service capacity.

  • A $3,500 sponsorship for placement car acquisition and/or for repairs and maintenance support this year

  • A one-time gift or monthly gifts totaling $1,000 – $1,200 to support on-going maintenance services for 3-5 current clients in 2022

  • A gift of any amount to keep working single moms on the road and able to get to work. Gifts can be given now, in the coming months, for Colorado Gives Day in early-December, or at year-end
