Cheyenne came to Hands through one of our wonderful referral partners. She is a young mother with three children who was in a desperate need for a vehicle to transport her children to and from doctor’s appointments and childcare. She has been working hard to obtain her GED and Phlebotomy certificate from a high school she is attending.
Cheyenne’s motivation is to provide a healthy environment for her children and give them a good life. We are thrilled to report that through the wonderful generosity of the Hands’ community of champions, Cheyenne was placed with a 2007 Honda Odyssey on July 17, 2020. With a vehicle, she is now able to gain her independence and no longer has to wait for rides!
Cheyenne mentioned that she is thankful to Hands of The Carpenter and all of our supporters for a great program that is working to serve single women who are in situations like her own.
